Job Description

You will direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. You will report to the Production Control Manager and prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plan and administer procedures and budgets. Make budgetary recommendations at higher levels, control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develop schedules and personnel requirements for assigned areas. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. You will work onsite 5 days a week in Mequon, WI.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Management experience managing 15-20 employees across multiple shifts.
  • Maintain and enforce safe work practices.
  • Hire and performance management: experience selecting, training, coaching, and evaluating employees.
  • Plan staffing, manage timeoff requests, and coordinate shift coverage.
  • Maintaining accurate attendance and time records.
  • Communicate daily production targets and capacity expectations.
  • Planning production transitions and inventory movements between departments.
  • Support safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Understanding of order management and material movement processes.
  • Collaborate with our teams to resolve production issues.
  • Preparing and presenting performance metrics.
  • Analyze labor times, backlogs, and capacity needs.
  • Understanding of business conduct, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in operations or supply chain - Production & Operations, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Inventory, or related field.
  • 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of planning tools and techniques.
  • Managing crosstrained or rotating workgroups.
  • Supporting internal or external customers.
  • Knowledge in SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
  • Leading Kaizen events, A3 projects, or wastereduction initiatives.
  • Coach teams toward business and customer objectives.
  • Understanding of operating budgets and costcontrol practices.
