Job Title: Inventory Control
Job Location: Sanger, CA
Position Type/Hours: Seasonal (approx. 6 months/year)
Reports To: Plant Manager
Job Duties
  • Track incoming and outgoing inventory (raw materials and finished goods)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records (manual logs or digital systems)
  • Perform cycle counts and full inventory audits
  • Inspect goods for damage, quality, food safety concerns or discrepancies
  • Label, tag, and organize stock in storage areas
  • Coordinate with packing and shipping departments
  • Report shortages, overages, or inconsistencies
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures (especially in food packing plants)

Key Skills
  • Attention to detail - accurate counting, labeling, and recordkeeping
  • Basic math skills - counting stock, tracking quantities, reconciling discrepancies
