Job description

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Associate

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your day will involve receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials with precision and care. You'll operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move items efficiently, while also performing inventory management tasks to ensure stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.

You'll be responsible for picking and packing orders to meet customer specifications, maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, and supporting other general duties as needed. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to collaborate effectively with your team are key to success in this role. Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations with equipment, consumables, and logistics management
  • Oversee warehouse inventory, including monthly consumables and annual asset counts
  • Fulfill outbound orders for branches, jobsites, and Area Wide Events (AWE)
  • Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and equipment standards using Lean 5S practices
  • Manage readiness of large loss fleet trailers and laydown yards during AWEs
  • Address maintenance and operational issues of restoration equipment
  • Receive, inspect, track, and accurately store inbound inventory
  • Assemble, label, and ship orders efficiently to job locations
  • Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and prepare receiving reports
  • Identify and resolve warehouse equipment, inventory, or organizational issues

Experience & Education:

  • 2 years in warehouse operations and distribution
  • Certification in operating power-truck equipment
  • High school diploma or GED required
