The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting service center operations by handling orders, inventory, and warehouse activities. This position ensures products are received, stored, loaded accurately, and on time while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and committed to supporting both warehouse operations and customer needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWarehouse ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, unload, and store incoming shipments.Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery and customer pickup.Load and unload trucks accurately and safely.Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and product organization.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.Inspect flooring materials and supplies for damage and report discrepancies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment.Assist customers with loading materials and order pickups.Support warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Valid driver's licensePrior delivery, warehouse, logistics, or flooring industry experience preferred.Forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification.Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.Basic computer skills preferred.Physical RequirementsFrequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the workday.Ability to safely handle flooring materials, carpet rolls, pallets, and installation supplies.Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and delivery environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions.Work EnvironmentWarehouse, dock, yard, and local delivery environments.Regular use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.BenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompensation$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. WSL, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to providing a safe, productive, and respectful workplace for all employees.
