In this role, you will lead a team and ensure that physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, account for all defective or damaged products, and provide appropriate corrective action. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.
As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.
How you create impact
Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse inventory efficiency, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
Verify inventory paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports
Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and help organize the annual audit
Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
Implement continuous improvement action plans and implementing loss prevention programs
Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed
What we would like you to bring
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of recent experience in a full-time inventory role
2 or more years in a supervisory role in a warehousing environment
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
