Warehouse Inventory Associate


Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay $15.00 per hour Weekly Pay Average $600.00 per week

Schedule Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM No Weekends

Employment Type Temporary to Hire / Full-Time

Immediate Start Available

Position Overview


We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for a major national cable company in Des Moines. This is a stable, full-time, temp-to-hire position with a clear path to permanent employment. You will work in a team environment to manage incoming and outgoing inventory, supplies, and tools. You will also test customer cable boxes and equipment to ensure field technicians have exactly what they need.


Key Responsibilities


  • Receive, inventory, issue, and ship materials, tools, and equipment in the cable warehouse.
  • Test and reconcile customer premise equipment (CPE) like cable boxes and modems.
  • Read small serial numbers and identification tags accurately.
  • Load and unload warehouse materials and supplies.
  • Use hand and power tools including drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and managers regarding inventory.


Requirements


  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and independently
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Willingness to drive a company 26-foot box truck after 3 months
  • Ability to pass a national criminal background check (no DUIs in past 5 years, no record in past 7)
  • Strong attention to detail and good vision to read small labels
