Job description

1st shift, Material Handler

Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

BETE is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring materials move efficiently throughout the facility. In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with production, shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to keep operations running smoothly while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

What You'll Do

·         Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.

·         Deliver materials to production and return unused inventory accurately.

·         Receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, and process receipts in our ERP system.

·         Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment using UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight carriers.

·         Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory transactions.

·         Support production by kitting materials and responding to material requests to minimize downtime.

·         Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

·         Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety standards and continuous improvement practices.

What We're Looking For

·         High school diploma or GED required.

·         2–5 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.

·         Forklift experience required; certification or ability to become certified preferred.

·         Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and inventory management.

·         Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·         Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.
