Job description

Warehouse Driver

The Warehouse Driver receives, stores, and distributes materials and products within the warehouse and delivers products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver product orders to customers
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, checking products in and out, and matching purchase orders to sales orders
  • Read customer orders to determine items that need to be moved, gathered, loaded or unloaded
  • Move materials and products from storage areas to and from loading areas
  • Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established processes
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of products and materials stored in the warehouse
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe
  • Open containers and mark materials with identifying information according to established processes
  • Assist in checking in product and taking physical inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Required/Preferred Education & Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid Colorado Class B CDL
  • One year of prior warehouse clerk experience preferred
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and box cutters
  • At least 3 years of satisfactory driving history required; previous delivery experience not required, but helpful
  • Knowledge of DOT and OSHA compliance regulations
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to operate trucks with manual and automatic transmissions
Working Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, push & pull up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the course of the shift
  • Ability to walk, squat, stoop, kneel and bend repeatedly at each delivery location
  • Ability to enter and exit truck cab multiple times throughout the day
  • Ability to climb on top of and inspect top of trailer
  • Ability to regularly pass a DOT physical and maintain FMCSA drug and alcohol standards
