Job Summary:
Accylerate is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer who can self-manage and translate business needs into actionable, analytics-ready data solutions. The role involves strong data engineering skills in SQL Server, data modeling, and hands-on development of data marts and ETL pipelines.
Responsibilities:
• Data profiling: Analyze and understand source systems to determine data availability, quality, and extraction logic.
• Data modeling: Design dimensional models and star schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Data flow design: Produce clear, detailed mapping documents that translate business rules into technical specifications.
• SQL Server data mart development: Build and optimize tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
• Visual Studio database projects: Create and maintain database projects for versioned, repeatable deployments.
• GIT source control: Manage code changes, branching, and collaboration workflows.
• SSIS ETL development: Build, schedule, and monitor ETL packages to load data marts reliably and efficiently.
• Data validation testing: Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business rules.
• Dashboard/report creation (nice to have): Build basic dashboards or visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
