Our client, a growing food brokerage in Oakville, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire position with long-term potential. The starting wage is $20.00/hour, with a pay increase available upon direct hire. Location: Oakville, ON Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming products, stocking inventory, order picking, packaging, palletizing, and labeling products for shipment. You will also operate a Counterbalance forklift and assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed. What we're looking for: - Valid Counterbalance forklift license with previous operating experience - Experience with order picking, packing, palletizing, and shipping/receiving - Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse computer systems - Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Reliable transportation to and from work - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Team player who enjoys helping others and contributing to a strong team environment Why join this team?
