Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00/hr. (based on experience)
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays when needed
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join a fast-paced FDA/cGMP manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory movement, and supporting production operations while maintaining compliance with FDA, cGMP, and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Operate stand up forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including UPS and FedEx shipments.
  • Pull, load, transport, and stage materials according to production schedules.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
  • Repack materials (1 kilogram or more) as required.
  • Prepare Bills of Lading for inter-warehouse transfers.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and customer deliveries.
  • Support manufacturing by ensuring timely material availability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all FDA, cGMP, and FSSC 22000 standards and company safety procedures.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience in an FDA/cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • Stand Up Forklift operating experience required (Toyota model).
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and warehouse best practices.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
