Warehouse Associate
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay: $21/hour
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for the accurate handling and movements of raw materials, intermediates and finished product into warehouse locations or onto trailers by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Knows, and observes all Standard Operating Procedures, safety procedures and rules, and environmental practices.
* Perform activities related to the movements and handling of materials to and from the warehouse and the plant using forklift or other material handling equipment
* Instruct truck drivers and follow procedures to safely load and unload trucks and containers.
* Ensure the packaging/re-packaging of products and containers is compliant with company standards and goverment regulations for shipping, returns, and storage of materials.
* Responsible for the cleanliness of the area assigned.
* May perform other related assignments and operator other equipment as determined by supervision.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
-High school diploma or GED
-Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
-Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures
-Basic proficiency with hand and power tools
-Strong attention to detail, particularly in quality monitoring and reporting
-Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
-Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
