Job Summary

Industrial Supply is seeking an On-Site Warehouse Associate to support our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program at one of our largest customer locations at the Freeport Center.ย 

In this role, you'll become an important part of the customer's daily operation by ensuring inventory is available, organized, and replenished when needed. You'll work directly at the customer site while representing Industrial Supply through professional service, attention to detail, and a commitment to building strong working relationships.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You'll Do
  • Gather customer orders using barcode scanners, vending systems, and other approved inventory tools.
  • Replenish customer inventory through bin stocking, vending machine restocking, and other Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively help ensure customers have the products they need to keep their operations running.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accurately labeled stocking locations.
  • Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery and inventory records.
  • Work closely with customer personnel to provide responsive, professional service.
  • Coordinate with outside sales representatives to identify customer needs and support account growth.
  • Collaborate with inside sales teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and inventory procedures are followed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory organization, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Industrial Supply with professionalism while working on-site at a key customer location.
  • Follow all customer safety requirements and Industrial Supply policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position that requires working throughout customer facilities and warehouse environments.

Employees should be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout warehouse and industrial work areas.
  • Lift, carry, and transport products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Load and unload inventory as needed.
  • Work safely in warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial environments while following all customer and company safety requirements.
