** Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is a plus!! All candidates must be able and willing to work in a hot environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Package material by the instruction on the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed
  • Keep up with the inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators and skids
  • Skidding material
  • Generate computer assisted set-up
  • Selecting proper knives; set up slitter head; select and lay out tooling
  • Assist operator/helper, check shipping paperwork
  • Load/unload coils onto flat bed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane
  • Proper placement of coils in the warehouse
  • Inspect, measure, using all tools required for each job in production and shipping departments
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production departments
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend
  • Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethics in working as a team
  • Safety minded at all times
