What you will do:

  • Load and unload materials in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, including preparing necessary shipment documentation.
  • Liaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping priorities and coordinate outgoing shipments.
  • Receive all incoming shipments, verify product accuracy, and authorize receipt.
  • Distribute products to the correct warehouse or yard area promptly.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safety procedures within the warehouse.
  • Provide backup support to the Sales team by offering product knowledge and information to customers or staff professionally.
  • Deliver orders to customer facilities, construction sites, branches, or warehouses using the most effective or assigned itinerary.
  • Obtain necessary shipping documentation and customer acknowledgment signatures upon delivery.
  • Load items and orders into the truck while adhering to delivery schedules, safety standards, and destination-specific regulations.
  • Secure and strap materials properly to prevent damage or breakage during transport.
  • Extended periods working in heat and cold environments.

What you will bring:

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required
  • Must have class 5 license
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
  • Able to regularly lift (up to 50lbs pounds)
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified
  • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
