Job description

Stockers are responsible for keeping the warehouse full with building products and help customers load products throughout the day. Stockers are expected to stock products as efficiently as possible. Stocking hours may vary based on store needs. They will report to the Lumberyard Manager.


  • Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
  • Assists customers by escorting them to the products they are looking for, securing products that are out of reach, and loading or unloading heavy items for them.
  • Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
  • Stocks bins, rotates product, flat stacks product, and puts away overstock.
  • Willing and able to work outside in all conditions.
  • Can lift 60lbs.
  • Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
  • Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
  • Reports to work when scheduled, on time, and works the scheduled number of hours.
