Job description

Warehouse Equipment Operator

This position is accountable for the safe operation of industrial material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods into and throughout the warehouse and production areas and loads outgoing shipments to trailers for delivery to our customers or warehouses. This position performs various tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment.

Job Duties:

  • Pick and ship customer orders and receive incoming materials, following standard operating procedures.
  • Follow assigned shipping schedule, including picking, scanning, palletizing, wrapping, staging and loading orders.
  • Receive incoming raw materials, including inspection, sampling, receiving and putting materials away.
  • Operate shipping equipment for the purpose of shipping or receiving materials.
  • Ability to ship orders or receive incoming materials.
  • Follow all Environmental, Hazard and Safety regulations and guidelines, including active participation in safety programs.
  • Responsible for printing orders and product sheets, assigning orders, and updating the system.
  • Perform and participate in general housekeeping activities.
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed.
