Production Associate / Machine Operator- Laminated Panel Line
Full-Time, Rockford, IL location
6:00am CDT start time, 8-hour weekdays
Overtime as needed
Aetna Building solutions is looking for an experienced Production Associate / Machine Operation to join our team. The Production Associate / Machine Operator will be responsible for the programming, maintenance and operation of production equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further their career with one of the Midwest’s largest distributors of building products.
DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with accurate set-up and operation of cold press and panel saw, safely and efficiently
  • Programming of machines per job specifications
  • Load and unload material, stack and package material checking for accuracy according to sales orders
  • Utilize Forklift and other equipment as needed
  • Conduct machine and material inspections to ensure product quality and minimize downtime
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures, demonstrating a commitment to a safe workplace
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of production or machine operation experience
  • Forklift Experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., walk, stand, push and be mobile for up to 12 hours per day
  • Panel line, panel saw, and beam saw experience a plus
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
