Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Loader Unloader Unloader for a plumbing supplies distribution center in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $19.00/hr. In this role, you will load and unload trucks and wrap and strap pallets of toilet and sink supplies. This is a Monday–Friday schedule with consistent hours.


Pay: $19.00/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Job Type: Long-term Placement

Primary workplace language(s): English

Work Environment: Distribution Center


Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks with pallets of toilet, sink, and plumbing supply products in a distribution center.
  • Wrap pallets with stretch film to secure product for shipment.
  • Strap pallets using banding or strapping tools to meet load requirements.
  • Stack and organize product on pallets to maximize stability and space.
  • Move pallets and product throughout the distribution center as directed.
  • Inspect outbound loads for accuracy and secure packaging before shipment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience wrapping and strapping pallets for outbound shipment.
  • Familiarity with loading and unloading trucks by hand or with basic equipment.
  • Experience in a plumbing, building materials, or home improvement distribution environment.
  • Ability to work at a consistent pace throughout the full shift.
  • Basic understanding of load securing and pallet stacking techniques.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or shipping and receiving environment.
  • Ability to read and follow basic work instructions in English.
