Job description

Blue Seal Retail, LLC, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate at our Litchfield, CT store. This seasonal position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while supporting excellent customer service and efficient store operations. Weekend availability is required. Blue Seal Farm & Home also offers a generous employee discount.

  • This position is designed and intended to be performed in Litchfield, CT.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loading and unloading bagged feeds and related products to our customers, both commercial and private
  • Ability to safely operate a hand truck and a fork truck
  • Operate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey all safety rules
  • Receive and accurately load and rotate product 
  • Maintain the warehouse and loading areas in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Report any safety concerns while performing essential duties
  • Other duties as assigned by Store Management

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches
  • Demonstrate a consistent track record of employment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Effective communication
  • Willingness to learn and grow
