Job description

Company Overview
At Atlas RFID, we connect people, places, and industries across the globe. As a leading eCommerce distributor of RFID and Auto-ID products, we have served 30,000+ customers, from growing startups to Fortune 100 companies. Since 2008, our solutions have shipped to more than 100 countries, helping organizations improve efficiency, visibility, and operations through identification technologies.
Our Operations Team plays a critical role in that mission. Every order we ship is part of the customer experience, and we take pride in fulfilling those orders quickly, accurately, and professionally.
The Role
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Assistant to join the Atlas RFID Operations Team. In this part-time role, you will help ensure customer orders are picked, packed, shipped, received, and organized with care and accuracy.
This is a warehouse-based position, but it is not an isolated warehouse environment. Our warehouse operates within a collaborative office setting, where team members regularly interact with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and Support. The right person for this role will be comfortable working with their hands, staying active, following repeatable processes, and communicating professionally with teammates across the company.
Who You Are
You take pride in doing things the right way. You are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, and you understand that even small mistakes can affect the customer experience. You enjoy hands-on work, like staying active, and are comfortable with repetitive tasks that require focus and consistency.
You excel in this role because:
  • You put the customer experience first and care about doing accurate work.
  • You like working with your hands and being physically active.
  • You are methodical, detail-oriented, and comfortable following repeatable processes.
  • You work efficiently while still prioritizing accuracy.
  • You stay organized and consistently meet deadlines.
  • You can work independently, manage your time well, and hold yourself to high standards.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, and you are not afraid to ask questions.
  • You seek feedback, own mistakes, and learn from them.

What You'll Do
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Follow best practices for shipping, inventory management, and warehouse safety.
  • Package products neatly and professionally while protecting items and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments in advance of daily scheduled UPS and FedEx pickups.
  • Check outgoing shipments against packing slips and labels to confirm accuracy, correct addresses, and completeness.
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments and pallets, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect products for possible damage.
  • Sort, count, label, and organize incoming inventory for easy retrieval.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse, including product shelves, shipping supplies, and equipment.
  • Assemble tag sample packs and product kits to maintain set replenishment levels.
  • Break down boxes, consolidate waste, and remove pallets daily.

What We're Looking For (Required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday afternoons, between 12:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The schedule is flexible within this window and subject to change.
  • Ability to report to the office daily. Remote work is not available due to the physical nature of this role.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and clear communication.
  • Ability to safely lift 30 lbs., use a ladder and pallet jack, and remain on your feet for several hours at a time.

Why Join Us
  • Consistent part-time hours in a professional, team-oriented environment.
  • Hands-on work that directly supports customers and company operations.
  • A collaborative workplace where warehouse and office teams work closely together.
  • The opportunity to build practical experience in shipping, inventory, logistics, and operations.
  • A role where reliability, accuracy, and professionalism are noticed and valued.
