Job description

Altitude Roofing is seeking an experienced, organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our roofing warehouse, inventory, tools, equipment, and material staging. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands roofing and construction materials and can take full ownership of an efficient, organized warehouse operation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, organization, cleanliness, and security.
  • Receive, inspect, label, and inventory incoming materials and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory using Sortly and barcode/QR tracking systems.
  • Stage roofing materials, tools, and equipment for upcoming projects.
  • Track tools and equipment issued to field crews and ensure proper returns.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Foremen to ensure materials are ready when needed.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Organize and track excess/returned job materials to reduce waste and unnecessary purchases.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and company vehicles.
  • Maintain safe and proper storage of roofing materials, equipment, adhesives, and other products.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, construction, roofing, or building-material experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and residential roofing materials, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, insulation, cover board, shingles, sheet metal, fasteners, adhesives, sealants, and related accessories.
  • Proficiency with Sortly or similar warehouse/inventory management software.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory accurately and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
