SUMMARY

Havtech Supply is seeking recent or upcoming graduates to join its Account Manager-in-Training program, designed to develop your sales talent by rotating through various departments within the company and gaining in-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, customer service, and outside sales.

Our Account Manager-in-Training Development program is 12- to 18 months. Throughout the program, trainees will build foundational HVAC product knowledge, customer service skills, sales process experience, and field exposure to prepare for a future Account Manager role

This program includes selective training offered by leading manufacturers represented by Havtech for graduates pursuing a career in HVAC Sales. You will learn Havtech’s core product lines, our sales process, and ways to hone your skills to support our number one priority: our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Rotate through and immerse yourself in the departments within Havtech Supply.

Warehouse

    • Learn the product offerings by understanding order fulfillment processes in the warehouse.

Inside Sales & Operations

    • How to identify and process customer orders and manage customers’ inquiries and questions for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies.
    • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer problems with innovative solutions.
    • Collaborate and build relationships with other businesses within the Havtech Group, such as Havtech Applied Equipment, Air Distribution, Morin Hydronics, Service, and ACES Controls.
    • Prepare proposals and pricing to meet customer requirements while ensuring competitive positioning.

Outside Sales

    • Develop and execute an account-specific business plan to identify long-term mutual support requirements for a strong, profitable, and successful partnership.
    • Review and compare contract terms and conditions within Havtech contracts.
    • Develop and execute an account-specific business plan to identify long-term mutual support requirements for a strong, profitable, and successful partnership.
    • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with multiple buying influencers within the customer’s organization.

      Participate in Structured Training Provided by Havtech and Our Leading Manufacturers:
    • Daikin Commercial Bootcamp 101 training in Houston, TX. This training opportunity will help you gain the key skills for success and is valued at over $10,000.
    • Sales Training: The sales training we offer uses a consultative selling system that teaches the fundamentals of a repeatable and successful sales process. This dynamic program is valued at over $4,000.00.
    • Additional training on manufacturers such as DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES, DAIKIN APPLIED, BOSCH, GPS, UNITED COOLAIR, CAMUS, and other manufacturers that Havtech represents to offer innovative customer solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS include the following:

Required

  • Must have, or will obtain, a Bachelor’s degree within eight months in a business or related academic major, such as marketing or engineering. Or at least two years of experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Have a valid driver's license.

Preferred

  • Interest in a sales career path.
  • Experience in customer service or sales.
  • Strong interest or willingness to learn the HVAC industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Determined, persistent, and confident.

Compensation
A reasonable salary estimate for this role is a base salary of $60,000 to $67,000 per year. The range reflects factors considered in compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, and other business and organizational needs. It is uncommon for individuals to be hired at the top of the salary range for this role. Compensation decisions are based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.
