Job description

Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, VA, is seeking a day Anesthesiologist to join their team. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off schedule and no call. The hospital is a 67-bed acute care facility with a 24-hour emergency service and a 12,000-square-foot intensive care unit, providing comprehensive anesthesia care across various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: $450K
  • Sign-on Incentives: $100K
