Position Summary...Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Walmart Energy - Regulatory, manages utility risks and advance an affordable, reliable, and clean energy system through regulatory and legislative engagement. This role involves analyzing business objectives and regulatory proposals to develop and execute advocacy, submitting written testimony and being subject to cross-examination, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external agenciesg. The Senior Manager fosters continuous improvement to advance Walmart’s energy energy and sustainability goals while maintaining operational excellence and integrity.

The Utility Partnerships Regulatory team collaborates with utilities, regulators, and lawmakers to manage utility risks and advance an affordable, reliable, and clean energy system. The team develops business-enabling rules and rates, supports clean energy initiatives, and creates utility products to maintain competitive markets. Working cross-functionally and with external partners, the team drives energy management programs and regulatory compliance aligned with Walmart’s operational goals.   • Manage utility partnerships across multiple regions, including the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada, overseeing electric, gas, water, sewer, and propane services.
  • Assess and provide guidance on utility rate reviews, regulations, and participate in regulatory proceedings to control costs.
  • Track and monetize utility rate changes to support forecasting and regulatory efforts.
  • Develop and execute utility products, services, and incentive procurement for energy efficiency and electric vehicle charging.
  • Lead data acquisition initiatives and collaborate with utility leaders and trade organizations to advance operational and sustainability goals.
  • Drive business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance.
  • Mentor and develop associates, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
