The Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance projects to ensure safe, functional, and sustainable facility environments. This role involves coordinating resources, overseeing quality assurance, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position requires technical expertise in equipment operation, project planning, and cost management, along with effective communication to support facility users and third-party providers. The Technician contributes to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and uphold company standards of integrity and service excellence.

What you'll do:
  • Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and approval of purchases for parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Perform seasonal maintenance activities such as snow removal, de-icing, landscaping, and shopping cart service.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, conducting pre- and post-operation inspections.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers, conduct performance evaluations, and lead quality assurance inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot facility issues and provide technical assistance to support operational needs.
