Role summary:
The (USA) Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary facilities by adhering to company procedures and applicable regulations, including OSHA standards. This position involves performing routine cleaning tasks, supporting facility operations, and addressing maintenance needs to ensure a welcoming environment. The role requires collaboration with team members and management to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and uphold high standards of integrity and professionalism. What you'll do:

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots following safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform tasks including dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning electronic devices and windows.
• Sanitize bathrooms and showers while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Assist with facility support by setting up rooms for events, performing minor repairs, and reporting maintenance issues to management.
• Collect and transport recyclables, disassemble and clean drug dispensers, and identify additional cleaning needs.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

What you'll bring:

• Proven knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, including disinfecting and maintaining sanitary facilities.
• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to perform routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal efficiently.
• Experience in minor maintenance, facility support, and identifying additional cleaning needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report facility issues promptly.
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
