West Coast- Canada (Remote) 

Sales Manager, Canada

The Sales Manager, Canada is responsible for driving profitable growth, strategic account development, and commercial excellence across key Canadian retailers and omnichannel partners.

Acting as the commercial lead for assigned retailers and marketplaces, this role is responsible for developing joint business plans, identifying new business opportunities, leading assortment and promotional strategy, and driving best-in-class omnichannel execution to support sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.

This individual serves as a key connector across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and eCommerce teams to ensure strong retailer partnerships, operational alignment, and flawless execution within a fast-paced consumer electronics environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow assigned Canadian National, Regional, and omnichannel retail accounts by developing and executing strategic account plans that drive revenue, profitability, market share, distribution expansion, and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong retailer relationships while leading line reviews, joint business planning, quarterly business reviews, assortment strategies, new product launches, and category growth initiatives.
  • Drive commercial planning and execution through SKU-level forecasting, inventory management, order fulfillment coordination, promotional planning, retail activations, and omnichannel programs across in-store, retailer.com, and marketplace channels.
  • Monitor retailer performance, inventory positions, service metrics, marketplace health, pricing compliance, content optimization, ratings and reviews, and competitive activity to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales performance, promotional effectiveness, profitability, inventory trends, POS data, syndicated data, and market dynamics to generate actionable insights and support pricing, assortment, forecasting, and investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and eCommerce teams to ensure effective retailer execution, commercial alignment, merchandising initiatives, and successful business outcomes.
  • Support new business development, strategic retail projects, process improvements, and broader commercial initiatives while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented approach with internal and external stakeholders.

 More about you:

  • 6-8+ years of experience in national account management, sales, business development, or commercial leadership within consumer electronics, premium consumer goods, or related industries, with experience managing major Canadian retailers such as Amazon Canada, Best Buy Canada, London Drugs, Costco Canada, Walmart Canada, or similar accounts.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel retail environments, including brick-and-mortar, retailer.com, and marketplace ecosystems, with experience supporting Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, promotional execution, strategic account development, and business expansion within highly competitive retail environments.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience in pricing strategy, promotional planning, assortment management, profitability optimization, line reviews, joint business planning, promotional calendars, and new product launches.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience utilizing POS reporting, retailer scorecards, Business Intelligence tools, syndicated data, and analytics platforms to develop actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations teams, supported by strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized professional with the ability to balance strategic planning and operational execution, manage multiple priorities and customer deliverables, and leverage Microsoft Office, ERP systems, retail portals, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $90,000/yr - $110, 000/yr. This role is also bonus eligible.
