Job description

Are you an experienced CDL driver looking for a better fit? Drive for C.R. England, the premier refrigerated carrier in the country on a dedicated account based out of Shafter, CA. This is a no-touch freight acount. Load can be 1 to 5 stops with a possible backhaul back into the distribution center.

  • Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

  • This lane is not suitable for students, recent graduates, or trainees.

Lane Details:

  • Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week

  • Freight originates at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA with deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV

  • Home Time:  34-hour reset weekly

  • Shifts for this fleet start between 3PM-9PM hours

  • Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hrs per week with the possibility of getting home mid-week

  • Band Pay based on experience

  • Stop Pay

  • Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions pulling 53-ft dry van and reefer trailers

  • Trucks will need to park at the Shafter Walmart DC

Driver Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL

  • 21 Years of age or older

  • 3 months of or more of recent Class A CDL experience

  • Transportation to commute to work
