โ€ข Take ownership of critical custody and wallet operational functions as we advance from a simple product launch to a broader, more dynamic product suite.
โ€ข Leverage data-driven insights and Python-based tool/bot development to optimize wallet movements, settlement reliability, and on-chain operational health.
โ€ข Collaborate across Engineering, Security, Product, Compliance, and Finance to ensure our wallet operations are robust, secure, and customer-focused.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine strategic insight with technical expertise, helping us shape a future-proof custody and wallet operational infrastructure.

Requirements
What You'll Do
Build & Scale Processes:
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve custody and wallet operations (hot/warm/cold), including transaction authorization policies, withdrawal controls, and address/wallet lifecycle management.
  • Establish runbooks for deposits/withdrawals, internal transfers, rebalancing, emergency procedures (stuck tx, fee spikes, chain halts), and weekend/holiday settlements.
  • Document and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, auditability, and clarity as the team expands.

Settlements, Reconciliations & Treasury:
  • Run end-of-day (EOD) trade/cash/coin reconciliations; investigate and resolve breaks across venues, books & records, and custody ledgers with crisp root-cause analysis.
  • Coordinate wallet liquidity and treasury positioning to ensure the right asset is in the right place at the right time for settlement cut-offs; manage buffer sizing and thresholds.
  • Partner with internal teams to support month-end close, evidence gathering, and audit-ready documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Serve as the technical subject-matter partner for wallet operations across Product, Legal/Compliance, Security, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Communicate operational insights and optimization opportunities in a clear, actionable manner (short memos, dashboards, incident summaries).
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects that align with our mission to democratize digital investing, including chain integrations and custody feature rollouts.

Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Ensure wallet procedures meet regulatory standards and mitigate risks (price bands/fat-finger, velocity caps, maker-checker approvals, whitelist-only flows for high-risk routes).
  • Maintain robust controls and quality assurance processes (access reviews, change management, policy evidence, chain-specific guardrails).
  • Support audits and regulator requests with up-to-date documentation, diagrams, and control matrices; contribute to blameless post-mortems and durable fixes.

What You Bring
Educational Background & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years preferred (2+ considered) in operations, custody/wallet operations, data analytics, or engineering-ideally in crypto or financial infrastructure.
  • Hands-on familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, on-chain transactions (confirmations/reorgs, fee dynamics), and wallet concepts.

Technical & Analytical Expertise:
  • Strong SQL for joins, grouping, and validation; comfort working with REST/WebSocket APIs and schedulers
  • Ability to turn operational metrics into dashboards and clear narratives that inform decisions.

Core Competencies:
  • Entrepreneurial: Self-starter who builds from the ground up and iterates from v1 to vN.
  • Communication: Translates complex technical processes for non-technical stakeholders; crisp incident write-ups.
  • Initiative: Anticipates challenges, automates repetitive work, and drives continuous improvement.
  • Critical/Strategic Thinking: Connects custody controls to broader business goals and customer trust.
  • Analytical Thinking: Uses data to prioritize, measure, and learn.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable in a technical environment focused on automation and tool development.
  • Security Mindset: Integrity-first judgment with least-privilege and auditable changes.

Bonus Points:
