Job description

RedBuilt is hiring immediately for Maintenance Mechanics at our Delaware, OH facility. We offer a safety-first work environment, opportunities for growth, and great benefits!

Wage Range: $19.00 to $30.00 hourly

Shifts Available:
  • Monday through Friday (6:00am - 2:30pm) with overtimeand occasional weekends

A Maintenance Mechanic's typical day may include...
  • Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
  • Preparing and setting up machinery for scheduled production runs.
  • Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairing of packaging and production machines.
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

What do we look for in a Maintenance Mechanic?
We are looking for full-time Maintenance Mechanic with previous production machinery maintenance experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with internal associates, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • 2+ years of related experience in mechanical maintenance of production machines.
  • Ability to repair machinery operating with PLC's.
  • Comfortable and productive using Microsoft Office tools (not required, but a plus!).
  • Must be able to work overtime when scheduled.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED (not required, but a plus!).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be on time and ready to work.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (not required, but a plus!).

Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop.
  • Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
  • Frequently works near or around moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
  • Exposed to airborne particles.
  • Work environment: Wood processing, manufacturing operation.
  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
  • Work in non-climate controlled environments.
