Project Detailer / AutoCAD Drafter – ACM & Wall Cladding
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Pay: Competitive; based on experience.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Detailer / AutoCAD Drafter to join our client’s team. This is an in-house drafting position responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and fabrication sheets for ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) and wall cladding systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate project execution.
Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed shop drawings for ACM and wall cladding projects using AutoCAD.

  • Develop fabrication drawings and production sheets for manufacturing.

  • Communicate directly with customers to gather field measurements and project specifications.

  • Interpret architectural drawings, field measurements, and project requirements.

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure fabrication drawings are accurate and complete.

  • Work closely with the department lead and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

  • Revise drawings as needed based on customer feedback or project changes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD (ACAD) drafting experience.

  • Required experience with ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) and wall cladding systems.

  • Strong understanding of fabrication drawings and shop drawing preparation.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
