Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking an Order Selector in Houston, TX.
Overview
  • Assist in daily operations.
  • Pick customer orders accurately according to the company's picking procedures.
  • Wrap pallets, load trailer, and containers.
  • Inspect product for damages, report as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Equipment maintenance and upkeep.
  • Routine cleaning duties.
  • Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized. Listen and follow instructions from supervisor.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years' experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders.
  • 3+ years' experience in operating Walkie Rider.
  • 3+ years' experience in operating Reach Truck.
  • Familiarity of use of shipping scanners.
  • Proven work experience in warehouse setting.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for work, must be able to lift or move
    at least 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Able to work independently and safely.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English. Spanish a plus but not required.
  • Basic Arithmetic skills involving addition, subtraction, multiplication.
  • Computer skills.
  • Inventory systems proficiency: DSI & JDE experience a plus.
