Job description

Reese is a well-established company with 85 years of experience in distributing roofing, siding, windows, and other building materials to builders and contractors. We are currently expanding and seeking dedicated and reliable Roof Loaders to join our team at our Louisville location. This role involves working closely with a CDL Driver to deliver roofing materials to job sites. Roof Loaders will be responsible for safely unloading and distributing shingles on rooftops. When not on job sites, Roof Loaders will assist in the yard with tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, and assisting customers.   • Climbing ladders to reach the roofs of homes.
  • Ride along with a CDL Driver to job sites and assist in delivering roofing materials on to the peak of the roof.
  • Unload and distribute shingles on rooftops lifted to you by Driver using a articulating boom crane.
  • Assist in the yard with loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, and customer service.
  • Operate a forklift (training provided).
  • Ensure safety by wearing proper PPE and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Work in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, and snow.
Qualifications
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops is a must
  • Physical ability to handle items weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to pass a drug test (THC not screened) and background screening.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Willingness to work weekends when scheduled.
Compensation

$17.00 per Hour plus Benefits
