Job description

The warehouse lead plays a critical leadership role within the warehouse team and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and supporting daily warehouse operations, including loading, inventory management, repacking, cleanliness, and fleet readiness. The warehouse lead ensures operational accuracy, safety, and efficiency, while helping to implement and uphold company standards and procedures. The warehouse lead is responsible for providing coverage and maintaining workflow continuity in the Warehouse Managers' absence, stepping in as needed to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation and follow warehouse instructions in building loads while maintaining a clean and safe work environment within company safety and RBNA's standards.
  • Ensure product is rotated on trucks and in warehouse in accordance with expiration dates.
  • Properly clean and repackage product as set forth by Red Bull North America's (RBNA) standards.
  • Appropriately dispose of damaged and/or out of code product once approved by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Warehouse by disposing of trash daily, sweeping floors daily and using floor scrubbers periodically.
  • Work from order sheets to build loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack.
  • Assist in training and mentoring warehouse team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support and execute inventory control measures, assist with restocking counts, reconciliation and recordkeeping.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to address operational needs, issues and process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build and train teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency with automation tools ad electronic devices (e.g., phones, computers).
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
  • Additional language skills are an advantage. 
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Must have a valid DOT.
  • Must hold a clean driver’s license.
  • Clear background and drug test. 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of the beverage market preferred. 
  • Preferred prior sales experience. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Repeatedly lifting 25 pounds including overhead.
  • Moving carts/dolly that weigh up to 75 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently.
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
