A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE As a Warehouse Associate you will operate a forklift and stack, organize and store product to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy related to GMP's and Safety. In this role, your key duties will include: Operate the Stacking machine within Warehouse Stack product in accordance with customer expectations Use forklift to return product to racking Use appropriate material handling equipment to move product and materials from/to designated locations to support bulk activities in an efficient and safe manner. Efficiently load/unload /transport product. Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of department. Understand the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety observations. Read and comprehend shipping and receiving reports and pick slips Consistent attendance and performance Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures. Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices. Be flexible with regards to working in any other positions in the warehouse as needed. Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the department. Successful candidates will need to be able to operate within a challenging but rewarding factory environment that is physically demanding and can entail repetitive tasks. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Minimum Qualifications Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive motions Ability to stand/walk for 10 consecutive hours Willingness to work in a food manufacturing environment with variable temperatures Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes or product Must be dependable and show a stable work history Desired Qualifications Prior forklift experience Experience working in a warehouse High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic math, language and reading skills Basic computer skills Prior food manufacturing experience Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards.
