Summary:

A Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to help guide an organization’s business decisions. They work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, extract relevant data, and provide actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and presentations. Data Analysts will help the design and implementation of data collection systems, perform data validation, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. They play a critical role in identifying trends, measuring performance, and suggesting optimizations to improve overall efficiency and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain advanced analytics systems that simplify complex data problems into actionable insights.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement.
  • Create comprehensive reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate and improve internal data handling systems to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with managers and users to gather requirements, ensure data solutions meet business needs, and maintain strong relationships across departments.
  • Design and implement data acquisition processes, ensuring scalability and performance optimization of the solution.
  • Create and maintain interactive data visualizations from multiple data sources, helping decision-makers understand key metrics and KPIs.
  • Continuously analyze data to answer key questions and provide strategic recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency.

Work Hours: 40 hour week, 8 - 5

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, with a proven ability to mine, evaluate, and visualize data.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, with the ability to learn and use additional analytics tools as needed.
  • Experience with technical writing, including queries, reports, and data presentations.
  • Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive business performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to analyzing data and identifying growth opportunities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in database design, data modeling, and segmentation techniques.
  • Practical experience with statistical analysis tools and BI Tools like Excel, Power BI, Fabric.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing to group success.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Microsoft Stack(SQL, Excel, Power BI).
