To assist the Director of Food Services in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory.ย 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses.
  • Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
  • Maintain standards for safety, sanitation and storage of food supplies.
  • Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent (GED).
  • At least two (2) years of experience in food service.
  • Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Must be familiar with AHCA Regulations, State and Federal Laws.
