To assist the Dining Room Manager in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control.ย 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • ย  Supervise, train and prepare daily schedule for the waiters and waitresses. Manage breakfast, lunch and dinner service.ย 
  • ย  Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies.ย 
  • ย  Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members.ย 
  • ย  Ability to promote and execute our culture of โ€œYesโ€.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent (GED).
  • At least two (2) years of experience in supervising dining room staff and food service.
  • Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements.
