Job description

Do you have a Space Systems Engineering background? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your technical skills to our nation’s Space Systems? If this sounds like you, come join Space Force Analytics (SFA) and a team of scientists, engineers, and space system acquisition experts that are developing the next generation of remote sensing satellite and ground systems.

You will work with SFA colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to acquire and develop Missile Warning/Defense, and Weather Remote Sensing Systems. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to the success of the programs that you support. Hybrid work from home and office, with occasional travel to various contractor sites and U.S. Government installations.

In this role, you will research and describe Cyber Threats at multiple classification levels and develop measures of effectiveness for Cyber Resiliency. You will develop threat scenarios and play a leading role in Cyber Table Tops & Cyber Test Events. You will report your findings and recommend solutions in a collaborative efforts with the Gov. and other contractor personnel.

You Have
  • 5+ years of space systems experience with a focus on Cyber / Test
  • Experience in space system acquisitions
  • Experience with cyber vulnerability and protection assessments
  • Experience with cyber tabletops
  • Experience writing/reviewing cyber test docs: TEMP, Cybersecurity Strategy, etc...
  • Ability to interact in cross-functional teams and work collaboratively and independently
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM major, preferably cybersecurity related
  • Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
Nice if You Have
  • Experience creating real world threat scenarios for test
  • Experience with hardening and compliance of cloud environments
  • Experience with Mission-Based Risk Assessment Process for Cyber (MRAP-C)
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) ATO Certification
  • Experience running cyber test events and working with various test organization
  • Experience working with US Space Force Personnel
  • Experience on console at test events
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience leading teams on cyber/test related activities
  • Master's degree in a STEM major, preferably cybersecurity related
  • CISSP and other cyber-related certifications
  • TS/SCI
