Job Summary
Ensure members have a very enjoyable experience by having a positive attitude, knowing the product, delivering top quality service, knowing and using the members' name, exceeding expectations, and being a team player.
Physical Abilities
Must be able to work on feet, moving about at a quick pace for several hours at a time; must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds, to include furniture, glasses, dishes, ice, beer, wine, liquor - individually, on racks, and/or trays, or by cases.
Job Duties and Functions
  1. Be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time, consistently.
  2. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
  3. Clothing must be in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair, upon entering the property. Demeanor must be professional and welcoming.
  4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; Management has final approval.
  5. Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
  6. Make all drinks according to standardized recipes.
  7. Keep bar clean and free from clutter.
  8. Cut fruit and make mixes. Label, store, and rotate all mixes and fruit, following health safety standards.
  9. Keep all proper glassware stocked, clean, sanitized and free of spots.
  10. Receive and stock liquor for bar pars.
  11. Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
  12. Greet members and their guest immediately and with a smile.
  13. Guide members and their guests through the course of their experience, communicating frequently with them.
  14. Learn and properly use the POS system.
  15. Ring member checks accurately and in a timely manner.
  16. Maintain an organized, clean and sanitary bar.
  17. Perform daily cleaning duties in the bar as assigned on checklist.
  18. Maintain a working knowledge of liquor cost, assist in achieving budgeted liquor cost.
  19. Assist all servers whenever possible, helping with the overall positive member dining experience.
  20. Any other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or Club Supervisors.
