Job description
About This Role This position focuses on commercial retrofit HVAC work - upgrading and replacing existing building systems including HVAC equipment to improve energy efficiency, meet code requirements, and boost overall performance. This is a great opportunity for a great install technician to start making the transition into service work!
What You'll Do
- Remove and replace commercial heating and cooling equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, chillers, and rooftop package units.
- Install modern systems such as Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) equipment, along with advanced building controls.
- Run low-voltage control wiring and complete rough-in work.
- Assist with light sheet metal fabrication and installation as needed.
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
- Communicate with customers on-site to answer questions and explain work being performed.
- Work alongside crew members to keep projects on schedule and meet customer expectations.
What You'll Bring
