Job Summary:
Veracity Software Pvt. Ltd. is a company seeking an Infrastructure Engineer. The role involves troubleshooting system alerts, maintaining test environments, and supporting both virtual and physical aircraft test equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and triage system alerts for senior level issues.
• Work closely with the lab and engineering teams to operate and maintain simulated commercial airline test environments
• Support, develop, and maintain virtual and physical aircraft test equipment, as well as manage lab resources, and other responsibilities to ensure the highest level of quality the labs provide
Qualifications:
Required:
• Able to troubleshoot and triage system alerts for senior level issues.
• Experience with typical application landscape within an enterprise data center environment
• Experience with implementing and maintaining virtualized environments (e.g. VMware)
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration including security and patch management.
• Solid understanding of networking principles including networking protocols, basic routing, ports, and firewalls
• Experience with supporting hardware (Client servers, NetApp storage, and multi-vendor network devices) in virtualized environments
• Scripting and automation skills - Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI or equivalent
• Experience monitoring network storage space and capacity usage
• Able to Client opportunities for automation by identifying manual, repetitive, tactical operational workloads and develop automation scripts, tools, and/or frameworks to optimize and standardize.
• Ability to work across multi-functional teams
• Can function Independently and mentor junior engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in heterogenous environments for engineers and customers
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work on a geographically distributed team
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to travel (10%)
Preferred:
• Knowledge or experience with tools such as Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker
• Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) training or DevOps experience
• Administration of NAS Filers including NetApp
• VMWare orchestration/ vRealize automation experience
• Debugging networking tools experience (i.e. WireShark)
• Experience supporting tools, networks, labs, and related support applications in an Engineering or Enterprise environment as well as its underlying support tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
