With the exciting growth the division is experiencing expansion of manufacturing footprint in Europe and Houston TX are well advanced

The Fabrication Division's design engineering resources are located in Guadalajara MX and Fremont CA and are poised for substantial expansion under the leadership of the new Vice-President of Engineering. The Fabrication Division is privileged to enjoy a positive and growing relationship with many of the world's best OEM's that serve the global data-center market which offers a unique opportunity to expand business leveraging existing engineering driven investments in cooling, backplanes and open-standard racks as well as future investments to be made under the leadership of the Vice-President of Engineering. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategy to extend Sanmina's leadership in the market place by building on Investments and progress made in data center rack, power (bus bars, cabling) and liquid cooling areas and expanding into new or adjacent areas as appropriate.

Set the strategy and build the engineering team to execute on the vision to extend leadership in the industry while working closely with operations leadership to ensure process capability and capacity are aligned with engineering product roadmaps. Specific responsibilities will include: Own the technology and product roadmap for the division including strategic expansion into other areas of the market that offer opportunities for profitable growth of the business. Align process capabilities and capacity with the product roadmap.

Build an effective high-performance engineering organization that can both support the current product focus areas in racks, bus bars and liquid cooling solutions and execute on future planned investments in adjacent or other areas of opportunity. Act as the company's primary technical spokesperson at industry events, with key partners (e.g., server OEMs, chip manufacturers), and in customer meetings with Hyperscale and Enterprise clients. Provide the organization with strong market feedback on technology, pricing and performance levels

Help to shape competitive strategy as a key member of divisional leadership. Professional Experience and Qualities: The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics: Domain Expertise and hands-on experience in high-density thermal management, specifically liquid cooling technologies (direct-to-chip, single-phase immersion, two-phase immersion) for data centers or high-power electronics. A track record of successfully bringing innovative technology products from concept through mass commercialization.

Expertise in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer in electronic systems. Strong leadership skills with experience multi-disciplinary engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Software). Excellent communication and presentation skills.

A track record of growth that is indicative of dedication, personal effort and commitment. A leader who sets bold expectations and leads the organization to achieve these high standards. An ambitious, visionary and passionate leader who can inspire, communicate and influence in a professional yet "down-to-earth" manner to effectively gain trust and support.

Strong personal presence and charisma. Ability to balance short-term and long-term objectives A flexible work style that can move fluidly from "the big picture" to the details with the natural predisposition to execution and results. Educational and Industry Background: A degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or similar relevant areas is essential.

Experience gained working at with hyper-scalers, data-center and enterprise computing companies is highly desirable. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
