The Vice President, Statistics will lead the Statistics function for the 12th District, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for multiple financial reporting and structure teams and the 12th District Regulatory Reporting Review program. This senior leadership role is responsible for the collection, analysis, and provisioning of financial and organizational structure data for 12th District institutions, while ensuring alignment with System-wide strategies and modernization objectives. As a key member of the 12th District Statistics + Reserves Officer team, this individual will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives that advance the national Statistics business line's mission and the Statistics + Reserves Group's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadershipand BusinessArea Oversight

  • Provide strategic leadership and long-term direction forthe12thDistrict Statisticsfunction, setting priorities and outcomes that support and align with System-wide strategies andobjectives;ensure all Statistics work is carried out effectively in alignment with national Statistics business line priorities and objectives

  • Collaborate with the Statistics + Reserves Officer team to develop and implement overall Group strategy, ensuring alignment with Group, Bank, and System strategies

  • Actively represent the 12thDistrictin Statistics;participatein and lead key System workgroups and initiatives; provide extensive support to the System and contribute thought leadership andexpertise

  • Collaboratewith keybusiness partners, including12thDistrict Supervision to support the review of regulatory reporting functions at 12thDistrict financialinstitutions through the Regulatory Reporting Review programand Statisticstechnology partnersin support of System business line priorities

  • Maintain working knowledge of emerging issues, trends, and ongoing developments in financial reporting,structure reporting, andapplicabletechnologies

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Championexperimentation and innovation within the team, Group,and System, includingnew approachesto data analysis, presentation, and work execution

  • Act as a change manager to continuously improve processes and outcomesandadaptoperations to changing business lineobjectivesand prioritiesas needed

Talent Management & Development

  • Coach and mentor team members to ensurestrong performanceand System contributions

  • Cultivate and providean environment that supports employee engagement,collaborative culture,employeeenablement, andcontinuous development

  • Participate in workforce planning efforts and prioritization of resources across the Statistics + Reserves Group

Typical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • 15+ years of progressive experience infinance,supervision,operations,or related field

  • 12+ years ofpeopleleadership experience

  • Experiencemanaging large, complex teams, includingmanaging managers and matrixed teams

  • Proventrack recordof strategic planning and execution in a matrixed, multi-stakeholder environment

  • Exceptional communication, influence,and presentation skillsto all audience levels

  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, balance competing priorities,and drive innovation

  • Experience building andmaintainingproductive relationships with internal and external partners

  • Must be able to work on site full time at ourSan Francisco location.

Preferred

  • Master's degree or higher in relevant field

  • Knowledge ofand experience withdata modernization initiatives and emerging technologies

  • Experience with System-wide collaborative initiatives and working groups

Base Salary Range: Min: $255,000 - Mid: $330,000 - Max: $406,000 (Location: San Francisco)Final salary and offer will bedeterminedby the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
