The Opportunity

Greenprint Capital is seeking a Vice President to join its Investments team, responsible for end-to-end execution of tax equity, preferred equity, and project finance transactions across the firm's renewable energy investment portfolio, including direct negotiation with counterparties through close. Location in St. Louis, MO is preferred but not required.

The role carries senior ownership of transaction execution, including structuring strategy, direct negotiation with sponsors, lenders, and legal counsel, oversight of due diligence and investment committee materials, and final sign-off on transaction documents through closing.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of tax equity, preferred equity, and project finance transactions, from term sheet through closing.
  • Structure and negotiate transaction terms directly with sponsors, lenders, and other counterparties.
  • Own investment committee presentations and recommendations.
  • Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates on deal teams.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key investors and counterparties on assigned transactions.
  • Identify and help structure new transaction opportunities in coordination with the Capital Markets team.
  • Contribute to process and platform improvements across the Investments team.
Candidate Qualifications & Core Attributes
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or JD a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in tax equity, project finance, or renewable energy investing, with direct transaction execution and negotiation experience.
  • Demonstrated track record closing structured finance transactions.
  • People management or mentorship experience.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation Range

Base Salary: $ 145,000-$190,000 annually

Total Compensation Includes:

  • Performance bonus: Target of 30% of base salary annually
  • Discretionary bonus: Potential additional bonus based on individual and company performance

Compensation and job title will be determined commensurate with experience; all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
