VP Contract Surety Insurance - Bakersfield, CA VP Vice President Executive Director Program Manager Product Manager Underwriter Underwriting Manager Team Leader Commercial Contract Surety _ . Supervise group of Commercial Surety underwriters ensuring that underwriting practices and guidelines are followed and pricing, risk selection and quality is sound. Commercial Surety Bonds Serviced include: License and Permit, Mortgage Broker, Liquor, Utility, Warehouse, Auctioneer, Lottery, Fuel Tax, Auto Dealer, etc.

Activities: • Build strong relationships with wholesale brokers and work to ensure continued business. • Implement, execute, and manage the underwriting appetite, guidelines, referrals, and authorities. • Underwrite risk utilizing claims history, financial status, and rate plans to determine coverage limits, pricing, conditions, and terms.

• Establish and promote underwriting best-practices to guide team members in profitable and sustainable underwriting activities. • Provide guidance, leadership, and motivation to staff underwriters, training team members in novel techniques.
