Job description

Join Us as Vice President, Product Management & Marketing at Potter Global Technologies!

At Potter Global Technologies, weโ€™ve been protecting lives around the world for over 125 yearsโ€”and weโ€™re just getting started. Weโ€™re a global leader in life safety solutions, committed to saving lives through innovative technology and trusted partnerships.

Our vision is for our customers to know us globally as their innovative, easy-to-do-business-with, best-in-class life-safety product partner. And our mission? With a passion for creating safer environments worldwide, our mission is to provide our customers with a team of real people that connect them with reliable expertise in life safety applications.

If you're inspired by purpose, energized by collaboration, and thrive in an environment of feedback, ownership, and experimentationโ€”youโ€™ll feel at home here.

As Vice President, Product Management & Marketing for Potterโ€™s Fire Suppression business, you will report directly to the Business Unit President and lead the product management and marketing organizations across a growing global portfolio of life-safety products.

  1. Lead the Product Management and Marketing Communications functions for the Fire Suppression business unit, ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives.
  2. Lead the annual strategic planning process in partnership with the President and leadership team, translating business objectives into actionable growth, product, and market development strategies.
  3. Develop and execute long-term business, portfolio, and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, market share expansion, and customer engagement.
  4. Lead portfolio strategy, including product roadmap development, lifecycle management, pricing, positioning, investment prioritization, and commercialization activities.
  5. Drive new product development and go-to-market execution to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and long-term market success.
  6. Lead strategic growth initiatives focused on corrosion solutions, mission-critical applications, OEM growth, international expansion, and adjacent market opportunities.
  7. Oversee Marketing Communications strategy, including branding, digital marketing, channel marketing, customer engagement, demand generation, and market positioning.
  8. Establish pricing, profitability, and portfolio performance strategies that optimize growth, margin performance, and customer value.
  9. Utilize market intelligence, customer insights, competitive analysis, and business data to guide strategic decisions and investment priorities.
  10. Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to align commercial strategy, product development, and operational execution.
  11. Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to portfolio performance, commercialization effectiveness, profitability, market penetration, and business growth.
  12. Build, develop, and lead high-performing Product Management and Marketing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
  13. Serve as a strategic advisor to the President and leadership team on business performance, growth opportunities, portfolio investments, and competitive positioning.
  14. Support long-range planning, organizational development, and future growth initiatives across the Fire Suppression business.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
