Job description

Summary of Position

This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day Company operations, involving the performance of all title, closing and escrow multi-state (FL and TX) operations.  The employee must exercise discretion and independent judgment to determine the most efficient and accurate methods and processes for the Company.  Factors critical to success include ability to manage the daily operations and overall operational performance of the Company, managing or performing title searches, preparing title commitments, closing, escrow and title insurance policies, communication, and supervising staff and title plant operations and related compliance aspects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads teams who perform a wide range of duties related to title production and escrow operations.,
  • Partners with and acts as a liaison between groups such as Examining, Escrow and Underwriting to ensure that compliance, policy adherence, production goals, and timelines are met.
  • Provides leadership and direction through managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors.
  • Accountable for the performance and results of ETA operations.
  • Executes business plans and contributes to the development of business strategy.
  • Decisions are guided by ETA business strategy and priorities.
  • Applies broad industry knowledge and business acumen to drive financial performance.
  • Has broad impact on the results for ETA performance.
  • Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced critical thinking.
  • Persuades and negotiates with senior leaders across the business.
  • Leads through subordinate managers, contributes to the development of functional/ operational long-term strategy and develops annual business plans to ensure alignment.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Requires at least 7years of management experience and experience performing title examinations, and escrow operations preferably in a production/volume environment with residential exposure. 
  • Demonstrable experience with industry standard title production systems; specifically SoftPro
  • Work with PMO groups, lead software integration and migrations
  • Data analysis, workflow modeling, deep understanding of process to effectively balance workflow
  • Capacity modeling and planning for workload balancing
  • Forecasting and trending with predictive analytics for proper business planning
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Work Availability 

  • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Must be regularly available and willing to work at least full workdays from Monday through Friday and such other hours as the Company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
