# VP of EngineeringIrvine, CA**Full Time โ€” In Office โ€” Irvine, CA**## Job DescriptionSteg.AI is looking for a highly motivated Vice President of Engineering with a passion for leading teams to create groundbreaking machine learning products for watermarking, steganography, or media provenance. This is a challenging role that requires expert level skills in computer vision/machine learning, software engineering, and people management.Steg.AI's mission is to protect and authenticate digital media. We do it by creating software that uses machine learning to watermark digital media. Our watermarks are invisible to humans, but detectable by our proprietary algorithms.Founded in 2019, Steg.AI is a National Science Foundation (NSF) and investor-funded startup based in Orange County, California. We service customers across many industries such as consumer electronics, media & entertainment, and government.## Scope of Responsibility* Lead the technology team at Steg.AI* Define, own, and effectively communicate the technology roadmap of Steg.AI* Hire and manage engineers and scientists to build cutting edge watermarking technology and deliver to customers through Web and SDK products* Work with existing and potential customers to ensure that Steg.AI's products meet the needs of the business* Write code across the full stack to improve the Steg.AI products* Communicate plans and results at company and board meetings* Demo products in customer meetings and at trade shows## Qualifications* 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers and scientists* 5+ years of experience working as a research scientist or software engineer* A minimum Ph.D. level skillset in computer vision and machine learning* A minimum Principal/Staff level skillset in software engineering* Experience with deploying machine learning models to customers through cloud service platforms* The ability and willingness to quickly learn new algorithms, languages, and concepts and implement them* Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills## To ApplySend your resume/CV to **careers@steg.ai**Apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
